In Home Consultations providing a mobile shopping service for fabrics and hardware. Viewing fabrics in the home is important because, not only wall colors and other furnishings, but lighting in a room can change the look of fabrics. Drapery by Felicia takes care of everything from design, measurements, fabrication and installation.
Custom Window Treatments that are Unique to each home. Offering a wide variety of shades and drapery including noise dampening, blackout and automation options. Made to compliment the room, and function beautifully. Drapery by Felicia will help you create the perfect design.
Cushions and Soft Furnishings that add that final touch. Outdoor areas and bay windows become livable spaces with the placement of comfortable cushions and a splash of throw pillows. Start from scratch and select the thickness, or cover your current cushions. Outdoor luxury fabrics available.

There are three things necessary for custom work to look custom; high quality fabrics and hardware, the fabrication process, and installation. If any of the three are lacking, it will downgrade the look of the other two dramatically, and can cost more in the long run. Don’t let this happen to you. Fabric, hardware and design choice all effect the price of custom window treatments. In-Home Consultations allow you to select fabrics and hardware with the lighting in your home.
What to expect:
- 1000s of fabric and hardware selections to view in your own home
- I will work with you to find the perfect design, fabric and hardware to fit your budget, style and needs
- Measurements will be taken unless the height is above 9ft.
- You will be provided with a quote for your project. Fabric and hardware amounts are taken as a deposit to get on the schedule
- Felicia will fabricate and once complete will schedule an install date

Drapery by Felicia is my life’s work.
As a child, I began sewing clothing for the family with my grandmother. I altered clothes in high school, my first tshirt quilt in college, then had a line of drumstick bags, “Roll It Ups” sold in drum shops along the East Coast while working full time. In 2011, I left a 10-year career in Social Work to refine my craft. The journey has included teaching sewing classes, designing prototypes for local companies, working as lead seamstress for a medical equipment company, and creating drapery for hotels and two local recording studios.
In January 2021, Drapery by Felicia began offering custom window treatments and soft furnishings to the East Tn area.
The unique combination of experience and passion allows me to provide a truly custom experience. I utilize a lifetime of sewing skills and fabric knowledge to provide window treatments that not only look beautiful, but function beautifully.
When I am not working with beautiful fabrics, I enjoy hanging out with my dogs, gardening, and working with my husband to remodel our dream home.
